HAYS – Although for the second year in a row, the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine event was held virtually, more than 100 guests wore crowns and tiaras and many participated in an in-person Shine Thru Parade on Main Street.

A Hansen Foundation grant helped underwrite the cost of star lights, T-shirts and other items for honored guests who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Heartland Community Foundation funded the parade, where many Fort Hays State University students turned out to cheer as decorated vehicles carrying Night to Shine participants drove by.
