A $20,000 grant from to the Kansas Society for Children with Challenges (KSCC) will provide assistance to low-income families with handicapped children who require medical equipment or home/vehicle modifications.
KSCC is a nonprofit organization based in Wichita that serves the entire state. The Hansen Foundation grant will be limited for assistance to families in the Foundation’s 26-county service area in Northwest Kansas. Individual grants will not exceed $5,000.
The organization is dedicated to improving the health, well-being and education of Kansas children who face challenges due to a disability. In addition to providing financial assistance for medical equipment and modifications, KSCC serves as a facilitator and advocate for families to find other sources of aid.
