A $15,000 grant to City of Stockton will assist with renovations to Solomon Valley Manor, a long-term care facility owned by the city.
The planned renovations include removing the wallpaper and updating the walls with fresh, modern colored paint. The hope is to reduce the “institutional feel” of the space and create a more welcoming, uplifting environment for the residents. Renovations are planned for both the rooms and the common areas. Currently, Solomon Valley Manor serves 29 residents.
