BELOIT – NCK Tech is making an increasing number of endowed scholarships available to help students with the costs of education.

At an annual Scholarship Reception on the Hays and Beloit campuses in the fall, students who received a scholarship are honored, and scholarship donors are invited as well. Donors can present the award and can meet and talk with the student whose education they are supporting. Both students and donors enjoy the event.

Funds from the Hansen Foundation were utilized to match endowed scholarship gifts. Some scholarships established in 2021 were increased, and five new funds were created in 2022.

Hansen funds also helped support the hiring of a development director, who contacted donors about scholarship giving opportunities.
