HAYS – Students in Fort Hays State University’s Department of Applied Technology can now learn industrial applications using new state-of-the-art robotic equipment.
Five Scorbot ER4U replaced aging Rhino Robotic systems, allowing 10 students to work in pairs to learn about industrial robotic systems currently used in real world applications. The curriculum being followed was written by the class instructor.
High school students in the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science on the Fort Hays State campus have been able to utilize the equipment as well. Partnerships and agreements for training and workshops with school districts have also begun.
