School programs teach about body, healthy living

School programs designed to increase positive behaviors and decrease risky behaviors so that students and their families can have healthier lifestyles are being offered free of charge to any Northwest and north central Kansas school.

Students learn about nutrition, body systems, healthy relationships and changes they will undergo during puberty during presentations by Kansas Learning Center for Health staff.

The program is provided as part of the foundation’s NWKLearns initiative.
