For 58 years, the 4-H Day Camp program has been supported by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation.
In 2024, 19 counties offered 34 day camps serving a total of 954 children.
Volunteers, including 91 teen 4-H leaders and 73 adults, donated 1,326 hours.
Programs focused on teaching life and leadership skills. Topics covered included gardening, precision ag, bicycle and scooter safety, babysitting, fishing, beekeeping, woodworking, CPR certification, floral arranging and food preparation.
