GLEN ELDER - A new patio and garden area at Glen Haven Apartments is giving residents a reason to get out and exercise while enjoying the sunshine.
Residents have been making suggestions for what to plant, including one 89-year-old woman who asked for Early Girl and Big Boy tomatoes, some cucumbers and peppers. A library children’s story hour was held on the patio for a planting party.
