CONCORDIA – An unused cottage on the grounds of Sunset Home, an assisted living facility, is being renovated into a child care facility to accommodate eight to 12 children of staff and community members.
The project will allow for about four weekly intergenerational interactions between children cared for at the facility and the 70 to 80 people who live there.
A Hansen Foundation grant covered the costs of improvements to a concrete parking area and driveway for dropping off children.
