SALINA – Magnolia Kids Childcare Center opened in February 2024 at First Covenant Church in Salina. By October, the center was caring for 28 children, with space for 12 more mostly in the preschool room. Infant and toddler rooms were full and had had waiting lists for months.
Hansen Foundation grant funds helped cover the director’s salary before the center opened and paid for required staff training.
