LAKE WILSON STATE PARK – A musical history workshop specific to the history of bluegrass in Kansas gave an excellent description of various artists in the state who have made an impact in the bluegrass arts.
The workshop was provided by the Matchsellers, one of six professional touring bluegrass acts that performed at the Lovegrass Music Festival in August 2024. An estimated 1,500 people attended the festival.
A Hansen Foundation grant helped pay for the artist’s fee.
