GOODLAND – Specialty tools purchased for use by students in the Northwest Kansas Technical College engineering and drafting technology program have helped increase interest and volunteerism, as the program prepares for one of its biggest classes in more than a decade.
A grant that purchased mill/lathe combo machines, lathe tools, gauge sets and measurement tools led to other donations of money and time to enhance the educational experience of the capacity class of 30 freshmen.
