RUSSELL – In the event of a large wildfire, Russell County Fire District No. 4 will be ready and able to communicate with other area fire departments to combat the blaze.
Radios, partially purchased with grant funds, have been installed in four fire department trucks. The radios will facilitate communication with other departments in a severe weather emergency or other crisis.
