
STOCKTON – Both children and their parents enjoyed learning about space exploration while participating in the Stockton Public Library summer reading program a “Universe of Stories.”
More than 930 youth participated in the seven-week program, which included such activities as making bristle bots and tin can robots and learning about space junk, rocket fuel and the science behind Star Wars. Children enjoyed eating Oreo moon phase cookies and gathering at the city park one night to star gaze and eat s’mores.
