LOGAN – New equipment is allowing Logan High School students to learn how to weld and giving them skills in running a business.
A CNC plasma cutting machine, five welders and a pipe beveling machine were added to the high school welding shop and are used by the Ag Entrepreneurship class. Students are learning CAD computer programming to operate the CNC machine. The CNC machine is also utilized in a laser engraver and printing press business, where students fulfill orders for customers.
