GLEN ELDER – A new HVAC system purchased with grant funds has substantially lowered the cost of heating the American Legion Post No. 143 meeting hall.
Utility costs in January to November 2019 were $620 lower than costs for the same period in 2018. Savings would have been even more significant, but a kitchen window was inadvertently left open for several days following the Groundhog Day Pancake Feed.
