ATWOOD – Grant funding assisted with several steps taken by the Rawlins County Dental Clinic to improve access to oral healthcare for Northwest Kansas residents.
The clinic is seeing about 200 more patients a month than it had been previously because of the addition of a second dentist, as well as meeting requirements to host students from two university dental programs for clinical rotations.
A new satellite clinic in Oberlin has served 138 patients, about a third of whom are new patients.
