HAYS – Fifteen students pursuing degree programs that will lead to needed professions in Northwest Kansas are the first Fort Hays State University students to receive the Northwest Kansas Learn and Live scholarship.

The scholarship project, which was launched in fall 2019, is available to qualified students who are passionate about living and working in Northwest Kansas. Areas of study scholarship recipients are pursuing include elementary, secondary and special education; school counseling, social work and school psychology; agriculture; finance and accounting; information networking and telecommunications; radiology, and speech pathology.
