GLEN ELDER – The Glen Elder Senior Center is no longer chilly. When the 40-year-old furnace went out, a Hansen Foundation grant helped with the cost of replacing it.
The facility also received grant funds toward the purchase of a commercial steamer. The kitchen staff and the other senior centers they prepare food for (Beloit, Cawker City, Tipton) report that the vegetables are no longer mushy!
