MANKATO – A local hunting lodge volunteered to host a tower shoot with their leftover game birds with proceeds going to match month for the Jewell County Community Foundation. The event had a great turnout and raised more than $5,000.
The foundation’s overall goal of $70,000 raised was far exceeded, with donations topping $100,000. The foundation will receive the full amount of matching funds available through the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and the Patterson Family Foundation.
