OSBORNE – The nine members of the Osborne County Leadership class chose to conduct a childcare needs assessment as a class project. It showed that another childcare facility in the Osborne area could be supported.
A community meeting was held as a follow-up, and a daycare committee has been established to further work on meeting the community’s childcare needs.
The class toured Red Cloud, Neb., where a recently developed childcare center was operating. The class was also impressed with revitalization efforts in that community.
