HILL CITY – Leadership Graham County inspired many of its 12 participants to increase their involvement in community affairs.

Three joined the Graham County Community Foundation Board. One was in training to learn how to run the local volunteer led theater to ensure it remains open. Two joined committees designed to enhance Graham County. Four volunteered to help local non-profits in times of need. One accepted an administrator role in the local nursing home.

The class also formed a new Strategic Doing committee to develop a pocket park in Graham County.

Word of mouth on the success of the program has spread, and there are many community members anticipating involvement in the 2024-25 Leadership Graham County program.
