LENORA – New equipment is making a fitness facility in Lenora a popular place for area residents.
Equipment in the Nex-Tech fitness center, which the company has allowed members of the public to use, had deteriorated to the point that some pieces were no longer in working order and could not be repaired.
Grant funding and other donations paid to replace most of the gym and exercise equipment, which is available to members 24/7 for a small annual fee.
An open house featuring the new equipment was held in February 2019 at the former Lenora High School building. There was a good turnout for the soup supper, and attendees wore gym clothes and watched demonstrations of how the new equipment should be used.
