MANKATO – A new lighted concrete seating area was a hit with patrons at the second annual Kansas Mammoth Festival in Mankato City Park in June.
The seating area, which was paid for with grant funds, has also been appreciated by those attending concerts on the park stage throughout the summer. Most appreciative have been older people and people with disabilities who appreciate having a stable place to park wheelchairs.
