GLEN ELDER – Glen Elder firefighters returned to their truck tired and sweaty after fighting a structure fire in 2017 only to discover the transmission had gone out on the 1992 pumper truck.
After nearly continuous repairs on the old truck, they fully appreciate the 2007 International pumper fire truck that grant funds helped purchase. The fire department has been able to showcase the new truck at various community events, as well as having used it on emergency calls.
