MILTONVALE – A new cot and patient loading system will allow Miltonvale Emergency Medical Service workers and patients to avoid injury during transport.
The Stryker Power Load and Cot System is already making patient transport safer, by eliminating the need for EMS personnel to manually lift the cot into the ambulance. The power loading system purchased with grant funds now loads patients into the ambulance with little assistance from EMS professionals.
