HAYS – Nursing students at Fort Hays State University and HaysMed medical staff in need of re-certification can get the training they need to handle life-threatening illnesses at the newly created Stroup Hall Simulation Center on the FHSU campus.
The training available will help ensure that nursing staff at hospitals, clinics, emergency services and long-term care facilities across the area are better prepared to handle patients with high risk medical conditions.
The facility, which was partially funded by a grant, officially opened in March.
