OSBORNE – The Osborne County Community Foundation as able to take full advantage of a $50,000 matching grant opportunity from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation thanks to generous community support.
Daily Facebook posts featuring the grants the community foundation provided during the year, as well as newspaper articles, school competitions and a lot of coffee and conversations promoted the community foundation’s mission. More than $77,000 was received locally.
Gifts were given to reward contributors who chipped in $500 by the 15th of the month.
