OBERLIN – A new projection system installed in the Gateway Arena has been utilized by several groups and has added a needed opportunity to provide information during presentations and events in the arena.

A Hansen Foundation grant helped purchase the system.

An especially fun use for the new system came during the Decatur Community High School Alumni Association’s annual alumni banquet. The high school show choir performed a “through the decades” sing-along to represent songs from each decade of classes present. The lyrics for each song were displayed utilizing the new projection system so everyone could sing.
