BUNKER HILL – Smoky Hills Public Television produced “Doctor on Call,” “Real Ag,” “Traveling Kansas,” and several other popular programs in the past year, as well as receiving seven Kansas Association of Broadcasters awards.
PBS also broadcast hundreds of hours of quality programming for children, as well as providing three books each for more than 800 kids enrolled in Early Head Start and Head Start in Northwest Kansas.
Grant funds helped underwrite programming costs and the cost of books.
