PHILLIPSBURG – Children started at the Rooks County Courthouse and by the time they reached the Stockton Public Library, they knew the end of the story. They could go inside the library and get their own copy of the book.
Six StoryWalk© sites in Phillips and Rooks counties received a rotation of five books from May to August. The Logan StoryWalk experience was at the Hansen Museum, and in Long Island, pages of the story were mounted in business windows.
Two educational programs themed around books including nutrition, health, safety and STEM content were also presented. Lessons were delivered to more than 300 youth at libraries and schools, including the Five Food Group Funny Face cooking activity.
